June product roundup

Chief Product Officer

Our recent product updates include improving the invoicing experience on 1oT Terminal and making eIM configuration operations available in 1oT eSIM Core.

1oT Terminal

This month’s updates focus on the operational backbone that ensures the smooth running of enterprise IoT deployments: invoicing.

Improved invoice management

We have overhauled our invoicing system with corporate procurement processes in mind. Purchase order numbers can now be applied to individual invoices, specific SIM orders, and all recurring monthly costs — important for multinational companies with complex approval chains and cost center allocations.

It’s now easier for sales and account managers to process invoices as they can customize costs for each individual line item.

We also introduced a redesigned invoice PDF with improved formatting.

Minor improvements and bug fixes

  • Optimized data package switching for enterprise-scale operations. 1oT Terminal can now handle simultaneous package changes on over 10,000 SIMs.
  • Improved event logging to differentiate between immediate data package changes and scheduled operations.
  • Automatic rounding up to multiples of 5 for SIM orders simplifies procurement processes and large-scale inventory management.

Work in progress

  • Granular read/write permissions for API access. These are important for security policies in organizations where different team members require different access rights to the system.
  • Pay Now button for PDF invoices so you can pay invoices with one click.

eSIM Core

eIM configuration operations are now available in 1oT eSIM Core

You can perform all eIM configuration operations (eCO) directly from your 1oT eSIM Core dashboard. Link and unlink eIMs for each eUICC in bulk or individually. Whether you’re a network operator managing connectivity offerings or an enterprise deploying IoT devices globally, your entire eIM configuration workflow now takes place in a single interface.

New for manufacturing partners: You can share your eIM information with third-party providers directly from the Settings page (to link eUICC at manufacturing time). You no longer need to search for it in emails or ask customer support.

New: IoT eSIM demo device available to try out

We have developed a special demo device with which you can test our SGP.32 eIM and SM-DP+ functions. Experience real profile downloads, telecom profile changes, and connectivity scenarios in real-time.

Why is this important for your deployment:

  • Test different connectivity scenarios before you go into production
  • Validate how our eIM integration works with your specific use cases
  • Demonstrate the business value to your stakeholders with live examples
  • Gain hands-on experience if you do not yet have compatible devices

The demo uses IPAe and connects to live networks, so you can see exactly how your production deployment would behave.

Work in progress

  • Production-ready conformance: We are finalizing conformance to the GSMA SGP.33-3 test specification, which will enable the use of production certificates.
  • Enhanced Device Management API: We are introducing robust eIM APIs allowing you to manage the entire eSIM lifecycle — downloading, activating, deactivating profiles — directly from your existing device management platform. One interface for hardware monitoring, connectivity management, and eSIM provisioning.
