What eSIM standard do Teltonika routers use?

Teltonika's eSIM routers use the SGP.22 standard, which supports up to 7 eSIM profiles per device. SGP.22 enables remote profile download and switching via a compatible SM-DP+ server — this is how 1oT delivers and manages connectivity on your device without any physical SIM handling.

How do I set up SGP.22 eSIM on my Teltonika router?

On first boot, the router connects via the bootstrap profile and reaches 1oT's SM-DP+ server. From the Teltonika WebUI (192.168.1.1), you click Switch to eSIM, enter the activation code provided by 1oT, and download the profile. Can I switch profiles remotely after deployment?

Yes. SGP.22 supports multiple profiles — Teltonika routers hold up to 7. Profiles can be switched, updated or replaced remotely from 1oT Terminal or via Teltonika RMS, without touching the device.
